After doing some extensive research in the area for an agency to provide in-home care for my mother while visiting from out of town, it was hard not to choose NEHC. Not only was this agency covered under her LTC policy, they ended up exceeding all expectations— and most importantly we were over the top so pleased with her caretakers. Their warm, welcoming, caring and gentle personalities were a perfect fit for not only my mother, but our excitable golden retriever. They were both so professional, attentive and compassionate from the moment they arrived to the moment they left. It was apparent that they received excellent leadership in their training for their job taking it very seriously, always one step ahead showing initiation and being very attentive to detail. The agency also went a step further and provided a consistent caretaker realizing the importance of this for those especially struggling with dementia and memory loss. My mother had such a positive experience that she is already looking forward to returning here knowing that she will receive exceptional care and love. During my time as a caregiver, I felt respected and genuinely appreciated. I have worked in GA and NC but never found a place to call home like I did with New Estuary. The clients and families are so kind and thankful for care. In this line of work it is so hard to find a company that cares for the caregivers as much as the clients and New Estuary has mastered that beautifully. Even during my time completing school they were so willing to work with my busy schedule. I could not ask for a better company to work for. They have been the best!
